Lake Wallenpaupack is the crown jewel of the NEPA region—52 miles of shoreline, great fishing, boating, and somewhat famous. Yes, it was even featured on The Office. (Actually, you will find many references to the Poconos in film and on TV.) But Lake Wally is not the only lake around. Pike and Wayne Counties have many options when it comes to lake living in PA! You’ll find welcoming towns like Hawley, Honesdale, and Milford, plus smaller villages like Greentown, Lackawaxen, Lake Ariel, Newfoundland, Tafton, and Shohola. Beyond the lakes, there’s plenty to explore—antique shops, local dining, art galleries, waterfalls, and miles of trails and game lands.
